You will find a wide variety of exotic fruits and a large selection of herbs and spices.

You will then move to the Anglican Church built in 1874 on the site of the old Slave Market. Slavery was abolished in 1873 by the then current Sultan of Zanzibar. You will have the opportunity to visit inside the church where the alter is built on the site of the old slave whipping post. You will also be given a tour of the old slave chambers.

The tour will continue on to the Old Fort, the Peoples Palace and the House of Wonders.
